The East Kenya Union Conference (EKUC), headquartered along Jakaya Kikwete Road (formerly Milimani Road), Nairobi, stands as a vital part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is one of the unions within the East-Central Africa Division (ECD), which oversees the work of the church across 11 countries in the East and Central Africa region.

The Union was officially organized in 2013, following the reorganization of the former Kenya Union Mission (KUM was formed from East Africa Union) which was split into two distinct entities: East Kenya Union Conference, serving the eastern region of Kenya, and West Kenya Union Conference, serving the western region. KUM was the first ever union in the entire history of the world Adventist Church to ascend directly into two Union Conferences from a Union.
