Central Kenya Conference

The Central Kenya Conference (CKC) is one of the administrative units of the East Kenya Union Conference (EKUC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Headquartered in Karura, along Red Hill Road in Nairobi, CKC oversees the work of the church across several counties including Nairobi, Kiambu, Murang’a, Nyeri, Laikipia, and Nyandarua. Its mandate is to coordinate the spiritual, educational, health, and evangelistic mission of the Adventist Church in this region, ensuring that members and institutions are well supported in fulfilling the church’s mission of spreading the gospel and serving communities.

As part of EKUC, CKC plays a vital role in linking local congregations and institutions to the broader vision of the Adventist Church in Kenya and the global mission of the General Conference. The Conference provides leadership, training, and administrative oversight, working closely with pastors, church leaders, and members. Through evangelistic campaigns, discipleship programs, and community outreach, CKC fosters spiritual growth and strengthens the Adventist presence in Central Kenya.

Beyond its spiritual mission, CKC manages a network of Adventist schools, medical facilities, and service ministries that impact the lives of thousands. These institutions not only promote Christian values but also contribute to the social and economic well-being of the communities they serve. With a strong focus on holistic ministry—addressing both spiritual and practical needs—CKC continues to be a beacon of faith and service under the umbrella of the East Kenya Union Conference.
